“former disc jockeys (and high school dropouts)”

I’d take that over a Harvard law grad when Kagan was dean.

Strong leaders with different views lead to rifts and in-fighting. They also become targets by the left. A grass roots movement can be destroyed much more easily if the leaders are under attack. Look at the Palin family and the hell they went through.

One guy posts, “The NAACP is racist.” Darn right they are. That could draw in more of a following. But since he was allegely part of this national thing, he was ostracized, and now a troublemaker grows in power.

Actually, I was tuned in one night (in Sac) as he started chewing out some local College Republicans for doing exactly what he just did with his ridiculous satire.

The Republicans were using satire to fight the latest attack on them....the college paper using them in a cartoon portraying them as leaders of the KKK, wearing white hoods and standing behind the College Republican chairman.

He actually had the nerve to call the kids neanderthals for using satire to combat the campus attack and told one of the kids, who had to nerve to call in to defend themselves, that the satire only helped portray what the libs had been saying.

Williams is a hypocrite and he's just hoping no one will remember....I do. Can't stand the guy and we have many, many more decent people to help us get our message out than an egotistical fool.

Or better yet, just ignore them

The only concern I have with this strategy is that the left will keep repeating the lies, and eventually, people will believe them to be fact.

These guys have the bully pulpit and can articulate .... what? Whose ideas? Their own? Or things that their listeners want them to say?

Probably a little of both, but I imagine mostly whatever they think will increase their ratings and popularity.

(A) You would be pleasantly surprised at how many Harvard and Yale lawyers are conservative. They are somewhat like the Republicans in Congress who learn to keep their mouths shut while extracting maximum benefit from their positions, and like those Congress people, they are usually in a minority position!

(B) In re the "legal education" one receives at Harvard and Yale, etc: The hardest part is getting in. After one is "in," it is nigh on impossible to get thrown out ... whether one learns anything (many learn one hell of a lot) ... or not. Many arrive in an agenda-driven state and use the education to enter the goverment, whether they know anything or not,

(Obama is a perfect case in point. He absolutely is a legal dummie. FYI, he was not the "Editor" of the Harvard Law Review. He was the "President," a purely administrative post, in which he did quite a bit of swanning around, but absolutely, and quite notoriously, minimal actual work. That was done by paid staffers, and a very hardworking #2 guy. BHO, Jr. was merely one of the token exotics at the very frequent cocktail parties.) The fact that he was an Affirmative Action Anus and a fake did not go unnoticed by his classmates.

BTW, a century or so from now, some grad student will reveal why he is no longer a member of the bar. He plainly lied on his Illinois Bar Application in regard to (1) aliases used, (2) Drug Use, and (3) Motor Vehicle violations, but he was gently and very quietly bumped off the list, as was his wife, in the low-profile way Bar committees prefer to work. No shouting. They "chose" to leave.

Civil war is of course, the worst-case-scenario.

However, we are not immune. Think of Spain in the 1930s. The Communists, Socialists, and Radical "Reformers," took legal control of the official government. They used the ensuing chaos, which they generated, to take over more and more of the lives of the citizens, under the pretense of helping them.

They, like Radical Revolutionaries everywhere, WANTED a polarizing war, which they thought they could win, and cement their Revolution in place for ever. I am not so sure that Team Obama hasn't the same strategy in mind for us. Remember, as the legal, de facto government, it is they who, on paper, control the armed forces, just as the Left Wing Marxist stooges of Spain did, or thought they did.

Perfect example of a Team Obama major player: Kagan. She is from a NYC Communist family, as a look at FBI and CIA CPUSA Member files would rather clearly show.

I’m glad that many students reject the leftist indoctrination, but many end up partially jaded like Neil Boortz.

Our ‘higher’ education is a shambles. Rather than learning original intent, they learn to find emanations of penumbras, invisible constitutional rights, America-hating ethnic studies, and other claptrap that is easily reflected in Congress. They use a bastardized interpretation of the Commerce Clause to justify any tyranny imaginable.

Some professors refuse to give “A”s unless their students attend class in the nude. They attempt to discredit God at every turn. And the social traditions of college encourage rather than discourage reprobate activities. They are an abomination.

We would be better off barring college grads from even running.

“I wonder how truly devoted these guys are to the causes they espouse - and how much they laugh at the “chumps” that take them seriously.”

Savage laughs at chumps. Most radio hosts are constantly reminded what great people their callers are. It’s very humbling for them, FRiend. A face can lie more easily than a voice. That was proven in a scientific study.

These guys have to talk for hours on end. Double-think is difficult to keep up a quick pace, which is why Savage sounds so strange.

Wait a cotton-pickin' minute, here. When running for JP and selectman, not to mention the school board, I made a big deal about being a genuine college grad! I have extensive legal education, too. I attended judge school for three exciting weekends at the state capital. No spitting. No loud red lumberjack shirts under the robe. Keep the pistola out of sight. No cursing. Not allowed to exercise the death penalty. If confused, continue the case and consult the village attorney. Split fines with the Sheriff.

Speaking of which, I increased our village income from traffic fines 300%, with NO increase in ticketing of residents ... unless they was a-beggin' for it. I was also a hanging judge when it came to loose dogs. Kommie Kagan? My Sweet Aunt Fanny. It is I who am the obvious, silver-haired choice for SCOTUS!

Haha!

FRiend, you are a delightful exception. And my hope will never be realized, so don’t worry.

But here’s the math as I see it — 99% of democrat congress critters are loony-left. 70% of republican congressmembers are good patriots. But let’s not forget that 30% of RINO repbulican leaders who hold the balance of power. So yes, seven out of ten republican college grads get it.

Now imagine a bunch of high school level grandparents suddenly suddenly winning every seat at the same time. Whammo! Christian conservative, family values, fiscally conservative, sensible foreign policy. It would be the finest government leadership since President Harding.

Now imagine a bunch of high school level grandparents suddenly suddenly winning every seat at the same time.

If that ever happened, Wal-Mart and CVS would have to build new stores all over the DC area, adversely affecting the environment. Besides, who would watch the grandchildren while college grads Bruce and Sallie-Sue are working double shifts at MacDonald's... when they are not busy getting new tattoos?

BTW, this Skoda guy also looks like he spends far too much time at MacDonalds.

Good point. I must meditate upon this conundrum. Not everyone can multitask like Grandmother, Nancy Pelosi. She’s amazing, especially the way she manages her fleet of jets.

“BTW, this Skoda guy also looks like he spends far too much time at MacDonalds.”

That’s the first nice thing I heard about him.

Watching recorded Glenn Beck with several leaders of 9-12 and TEA Party organizations. Skoda is sitting there fuming as they make it clear that this is a decentralized grass-roots movement, not some organization he can hijack.

Skoda and GTH as far as I’m concerned.

I was watching the same repeat (for as long as I could.) Very disappointed with Jenny Beth Martin for smearing Mark Williams as a racist.
