Costa Rica has no standing military because they want to be an example to the world of a peaceful nation.... Of course thugs and criminals are going to go where their is least resistance. Now we are paying for it.

46 warships? 200 aircraft? 7000 Marines? Okay, what the heck presents that big a threat in Costa Rica?! Iran is a MUCH bigger threat!! Venezuela is a much bigger threat! North Korea in a much bigger threat! Heck, our border with Mexico is a MUCH bigger and more imminent threat!!!

Isn’t this a bit of, shall we say, OVERKILL!?! What’s the mission? What’s the point? Good grief!
