"I was taught when I was a young reporter that it's news when we say it is. I think that's still true -- it's news when 'we' say it is. It's just who 'we' is has changed"

David Carr (b. 1956). US Journalist, NY Times Reporter. CNN "Reliable Sources", Sunday, August 10, 2008.

"News is what your editor says it is unless the publisher says it isn't."

Carl Liberto (b. 1949), US Journalist. Interview, Tuesday, February 3, 2009.

I have been sending comments to ABC, CBS and NBC, asking where Obama is born.

I tell them he is the best president ever and I want to go to his birth place to see the holy sight, but I cant find it. I tell them I'm not a birther.

Im just hoping that some intern reading the comments starts to wonder what the hell is going on, and cracks the wall. It is amazing that all these journalists refuse to uncover the story of the century.
