I think we are missing the big picture here. The Obama administration ordered BP to open the valves and pollute the gulf for 3 days so they can measure the flow for liability reasons.

BP resisted so this anonymous story by Thad Allen is to justify reopening the pollution. Note he will not give any info about the supposed seeping,

This is a maJor scandal in the making.

I think you have it. There is now a pi$$ing contest between the feds and BP over whether to try and produce the well or shut it in completely.

The well is not designed to sit in the condition it is for an extended period of time. They have to reopen it and the decision of when that happens lies directly in the governments hands. There is no political will to make hard decisions so the only consideration is the easiest path to blame somebody else... be that BP or a former president.

Thad Allen is a big clown, a dupe, and a scapegoat.

What a way to end his illustrious career as a Coast Guard hack!

Let's see. If I toss a McDonald's burger wrapper out of my car on the highway, I'll get a $1000 fine for littering.
What would you say the fine should be for this? (I'm thinking expulsion of every liberal democrat in power. Forever)

Do you have solid corroboration? If so, Drudge needs this.
