Now here's a peculiar prediction, especially considering that it comes two Washington media figures that are consistently on the opposite ends of the political spectrum.
On the July 17 broadcast of "The McLaughlin Group" during the predictions segment, both Newsweek columnist Eleanor Clift and MSNBC political contributor Pat Buchanan made astounding predictions about what the situation would be in a post-2010 election cycle.
"After the Democratic in November, there will be a push to put Hillary Rodham Clinton on the ticket in 2012," Buchanan declared.

There's no other way for them to try to save their party.
If the dems get shellacked in the mid-terms, and if Obama continues to flounder, then he should go on mega-alert if the Hilamonster wants to retire as SecSt and go write her memoirs. That means she’s determined he’s unelectable no matter who is VP is to a 2nd term.
Keep in mind that there is NO WAY she would bring this up unless it’s being tossed around in the White House.
I’ve watched her for YEARS and she way too disciplined to shoot off her mouth. This is clearly a trial balloon - and they will probably pull off the swap if no serious reaction.

Possibly, just maybe, she could slip sneakily into the oval office should Hussein be, for some reason, unable to finish his term.
In fact, should Biden step down next week for some reason , she could be the Veep REAL quickly. And maybe President not long thereafter. These are 'Rats we're talking about. Chicago and New Jersey style shenanigans are not out of the question.

I totally disagree. The Dems appear to be quietly talking among themselves about their Barry problem. It’s become evident to all that he’s simply not up to the job of being President. I can’t really see Barry getting nominated by the Dems for a second term.
