WASHINGTON (AFP) – Vice President Joe Biden brushed aside suggestions on Sunday that Democrats will suffer big losses in November midterm elections, vowing that Barack Obama's governing party will "shock the heck out of everybody."
Speaking on the ABC News program "This Week," Biden dismissed prevailing wisdom that Democrats, 17 months into Obama's transformative residency in the White House, would suffer a drubbing at the hands of salivating Republicans.
"I don't think the losses are going to be bad at all," Biden said. "I think we're going to shock the heck out of everybody."
Biden said he was "confident when people take a look at what has happened since we've taken office in November and comparing it to the alternative, we're going to be in great shape."
The vice president said he believes the Obama administration will get credit from voters for helping guide the economy out of recession and passing key legislation on health care and financial reform.
"It's just going to take time," Biden said.
"The election is not until November. And I think we're going to have to firmly make our case."
Obama has launched into campaign mode in recent weeks, hoping to transform the spectacular grassroots support from Democrats and independent voters which propelled him to the presidency in 2008 into a full-bodied platform for his party in the upcoming congressional races.

Our courts will rule that we have no right to bring blacks up on charges for tampering with the election...
Oh, wait. That’s already happened.
The only hope we have is to get out there by the zillions and vote every Democrat we can out of office.
And then we face two years where Obama will blame ALL of his failures, past and present on the new Republican congress (and/or George W. Bush).
Then the infiltrated RNC and State republican organizations will put up a slew of unelectable morons and RINOS because the media will have told them the “best shot” at defeating THE ONE is to “go moderate” and attract disaffected Democrats.
Then, at the last moment, someone will “find” something in a basement storage locker somewhere proving our candidate is worse than the nastiest thing that ever crawled out from under a rock. Obama will come out and claim he doesn’t approve of such underhanded campaign methods... or, maybe by that time, his arrogance might actually have grown to the point where he doesn’t even bother.

Having poll watchers wont help. The fraud occurs at the County Recorders Offices where the votes coming in from the precincts are tallied, the small number of employees are Acorn affirmative action plants .

If, with the mood of the majority of the citizenry, the dems and RINOS aren’t voted out en mass; we’ll know the regime has “fixed†the system, and time for peaceful reform is behind us.
We have to face reality. These people, Pelosi & Biden are exuding over confidence for a reason. Our elections became corrupted and easily manipulated after the 2000 elections. The method of voting was changed (because paper was just too unreliable /s)and then along the way there have been more changes inserted; if you are a poll worker/election judge you must let someone vote, even if they don’t have any proof of who they are. That ballot is placed aside for later verification and then it’s suppose to be thrown out if nothing can be found on that. I worked the polls after that election and everything started changing. County meetings/training were held and gradually, now, the entire system has been compromised.

Bottom line: they think they’ll lose, but not as much as rinos say they will.
Me: I’m not a republican, I don’t vote for rino’s, liberals, or nutcases. I’m an independent conservative, and I vote for the pro-life, pro-gun, pro-God, pro-family conservative in the race. That guy will also be fiscally responsibile.

OK, how can we citizens get involved in monitoring the activities at the County Recorders Offices? Are there observers from all political parties present to oversee the tallying of votes? How can we counteract ACORN plants?
