Debate Watching Party in Tucson!
Pima County GOP Debate Watching Party at O'Malley's Back Room in Tucson
I’m good...going solo Wed. in my new job. I am ready too! A little squimish but ready! Miss time on FR but the job is a challenge and was up for a change.
Oh good! I should hope so.
G-nite OneVike and keep the faith!
McCain actually voted against the 1986 Reagan amnesty when he was in the House.
And pleasant dreams.
And the same to you from one old lady to another! My diamond b-day coming up next month! Yikes!
Did you listen to the debate tonight? Turns out McCain took $11,000 from those same people.
Ruined my only fun - no “my friends” - LOL.
LOL!
That’s a fabulous way to put it. I would have never guessed or even thought about it. Screen names are deceptive and who cares about another’s age? In fact, I’m ‘almost’ through worrying about my own...lol.
Fantastic! You’ll rock! I just know it.
I didn't listen to the debate. I frankly don't care who wins. They are both a poor choice.
But I do think if I lived in AZ I would have to pull the lever for McCain.
Anybody know where I can see a replay.
And another idiot for McCain chimes in.
I was glad when J.D. pointed that out.
McCain is a fraud. McCain=Amnesty, which will destroy the US with the stroke of a pen. You are in a distinct minority on this thread. McCain is a RINO and must be defeated.
I am not really for McCain.
Trust me, if it was Jeff Flake running against him in the primary, I would be his biggest out of state supporter!!!
“I like Deakin.”
There is no sin in that. He is a Constitutional Conservative. The real deal. He’s not a career politician. In fact, I don’t think he has ever served as a representative.
The problem is, as seems to be the case for a long time now in other important races, this time it’s Deakin who is viewed as a spoiler to defeat McCain. So, it doesn’t matter that he may be the most Constitutionally Conservative of the lot. The only thing that matters is whether he electable. Then, if we look at the numbers, at least at this point, he doesn’t appear to be at all.
As for this ole Marine, there is a place in my for Constitutional Conservatives. But, regretfully, we are not all there yet. We are still into who put on the best performance, who is the most flamboyant, who had command of the stage, who is the best debater, and so on.
Generally, politicians are judged more for electability than they are for principles. The GOP is no exception. Heck, they gave us McCain, and then McCain gave Obama the Presidency.
It would have been a major landslide of astronomical proportions if McCain had not chosen Sarah. I voted for McCain because I had no other choice. But I did so without guilt since I had high hopes Sarah could bring him back to the fold.
Oops rambling. Arizona, nor America, is ready for genuines like Deakin yet. So, at this juncture, if Deakin doesn’t leap like a rabid gazelle soon, Arizona nor America can afford for him to spoil the chances of an electable defeating Juan. Agree or not, this is what it comes down to.
