The Serious Tracking of Americans Begins
Economic Policy Journal ^ | 07/16/2010 | Economic Policy Journal

They have passed the health bill, they have passed the financial regulations bill and they have snuck stuff into the stimulus package bills. They are going to track your money and your body. Here's the first few things they are doing. This is step one. It will only get worse from here.

According numismaster.com:

...the Health Care Bill mandates, according to Numismaster.com, Starting on January 1st in 2012, S federal law will require coin and bullion dealers to report to the Internal Revenue Service all gold and silver coin purchases and sales greater than $600. No that is not an error, they tacked the gold coin tracking regulations into the health bill. They are just tacking stuff on wherever they can.

As for your body, you will be required to have an "electronic health record", by 2014. They snuck this into one of the "stimulus" bills. The electronic record will include an obesity rating. The information will be required to be on a "national exchange" with only secure access (Hah!). Why the F does your obesity rating have to be on a national exchange? This is a tip off to how micro-managed they are going to attempt to run your life.

Keep in mind that the health bill and financial "reform" bill are thousands of pages, with much of the details left up to the new agencies to fill in. Obama is appointing major league interventionists to head these agencies. They are completely clueless as to how an economy works. Their regs will be over the top. It will stifle America in so many ways, it is difficult to imagine. I was in East Berlin the year before the Wall came down. I saw what constant monitoring and micro-management did to people. It is not pretty. The gray, the drab, the despair was everywhere. When you can only take orders and wait for approvals and are constantly watched, it saps the life out of you. America is going to be changing and the government is going to try and watch you and monitor your vitals, as if you were a lab rat, as it does the changing.

It is not going to be pretty.

THE last hope is: STATES' RIGHTS! Ignore my position at your peril.

The democrat socialists killed states rights back in the 60s during the civil rights protests and the passage of the Civil Rights Act.

No doctor will go forth without the most basic information such as is the patient allergic to something i am going to administer except under the gravest damned if you do,damned if you don’t circumstances. There are many areas between a walk in with a fractured toe and someone on the cusp of death. We also have more elderly now who may or may not remember what the name of the meds they take and such.
I hope you understand i am taking your question( a proper one in my mind)as what about a split second decision as opposed to one of the doctors attitude and whether they will bother to look at the records.

I doubt if you can specifically reference those portions of the law which support the blog's contentions. Nevertheless, you have elicited a response from the knee jerk crowd. lol

The majority of the Lemmings still think that this was a “good” bill because Obama said so and it finally put an end to those greedy Wall Street executives stealing from everybody and causing the economy to go bad.

And like Healthscare, they demonized the Insurance companies, saying they were overcharging and causing the cost of medical to be much higher than it should be.

And so goes the steady and rapid decline of America. And they took it over in the dead of night when everyone was asleep, without firing a shot. When the people woke up wondering what had happened, the media told them that something wonderful had been done for them. Then they went back to bed because all their worries have been taken away by the Government.

Respectfully disagree. If enough States just say NO to Fedgov mandates, what could DC actually do? In this day and age, no one has the stomach for a civil war, especially not DC nor our military.

Let the States Nullify any or all Fedgov unConstitutional mandates. If enough Governors said NO, the spineless obambi Fedgov would give. Now is the time!

STATES' RIGHTS!
STATE NULLIFICATION!

Eh? than why does the government need access to all this information? Further, this is about socialized healthcare and cutting costs (rationing). Doctors will be spread even more thinly and many probably won’t be US educated.

Even today doctors don’t have the time to sit down and review medical records. They’ll glance through it and make a quick decision and move on. The idea that a doctor will sit down and review your entire medical history is one version of utopia.

Electronic medical records sounds great. I’d even support it if it weren’t a communist dictator wanna be that was pushing it.

IF they manage all this with the same competence they have everything else, nothing's going to happen.

In the meantime, I hope the states sue and I have a feeling it's going to take all 50 - wait, 57. Dumbo did say we have 57 states, right?

"All politics is local. One cannot always fight tanks."

You make my point. States have the resources. They may not be truly local, but they are powerful enough to fight against this ever-encroaching Federal collective control.

Other than a few hard-core patriots dying in small fire-fights, I don't see any organized attempt to over-throw our now marxist fedgov succeeding. However, the individual States have the man-power and resources to make a final stand against the fedov ultimate control.

SUPPORT YOUR STATE in its 9th and 10th Amendment rights!

Never Again is here. Instead of concentration camps, you will be shipped to Hospice Centers for Big Brother ordered euthanasia. Bend over and kiss your rears goodbye.

Your children and grandchildren will be “slaves” to the State.

"Even in the best scenario that line of gun men will be thin."

Agreed. That's why STATES' RIGHTS and their resources is the last line of defense. It is written in the 9th and 10th Amendments that are still the law of the land.

STATES' RIGHTS! END STORY!

Your last sentence is more inline with my comments than your own.
I don’t believe in utopia and i don’t believe the government should be in anyway involved in my health care. What i do believe is that insurance companies would not be offering coverage if they were not making money doing so.What i do believe is the government will not be able to run that business in anything resembling a break even capacity. I also see no harm to people voluntarily joining a national health care data base which is perfectly in tune with your last line summation.
In short,i don’t even know why you’re posting to me. No where do i claim that doctors are infallible speed readers who will access every last iota of information as you keep alluding that i somehow stating.
It would be akin to me stating that you are claiming that no doctor will ever use the information to a patients benefit.

So they can confiscate it. Socialist societies always run out of other peoples money. They'll need to steal every cent they can get from the American people to pay for all the new freeloaders they've been creating.
Eventually, their "herd" will have to be culled. Every socialist society before us has had to reduce the population, because there's nothing left to share.

I’m posting to you because you are supporting the aspects of BO care that include the health information exchanges.

They aren’t doing it to help patients.

They aren’t making it voluntary.

They are doing it to control what medical care you receive.

They are doing it so they can control what you eat and how you exercise.

What? I explicitly said voluntary in each and every post.

They're doing it to control the population. There are too many feeders already to keep their socialist utopia alive. Their vision of utopia consists of a slave force who labors for the governments of the globe. Those who can't labor will be deemed unnecessary.

In my opinion, 'the swine flu that never was' was a trial run. How many, and who, took the medicine voluntarily? A medicine that destroys the immune system over time would go unnoticed - especially when the government controlled the health records.

Never open doors that can't be shut later. Watch for a large decrease in the population from "natural causes".
