Ayotte continues to lead in both the primary and general elections.

In a historical first, if Ayotte wins, she would be the first popularly elected Senator of French-Canadian decent.

I am planning to vote for her in the primary although somebody on here said she was a “McCain RINO” and Ovide Lamontagne was the only “true conservative” in the race. Ovide didn’t exactly cover himself with glory when he ran for governor a few years ago and his lawyering for the Bishop does not sit well with a lot of people, me included, and I’m not a Catholic.
