Tonight, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) will debate his primary challengers, former Rep. J.D. Hayworth (R-AZ) and conservative "tea party" activist Jim Deakin in one of only two Republican primary debates.
During the one hour debate, Hayworth will likely concentrate on McCain's 28 years in Congress with a focus on his position on immigration. Deakin said he will compare and contrast his approach in representing constituents to the "other two entrenched politicians." A McCain campaign spokesman said that the Senator "looks forward to a spirited discussion on the issues facing Arizonans."
The LIVE debate will take place tonight at KTVK-TV in Phoenix, Arizona.

The only person I loathe more than McCain *might* be Ted Rall, who STILL has an ass kicking coming from me.

RE: Poll Question. I voted Immigration because we are talking about ARIZONA.. IMHO for ARIZONA it is 51% IMMIGRATION and 49% ECONOMY.. as for the USA as a whole it is 99.99% ECONOMY...

A first question intended to damage JD at the outset. Wonder if he’ll give McCain a loaded question?

Am I a prophet or what! McCain went after JD for the video! And JD handles it with grace and slams him with violating Reagan's 11th amendment.
If McCain attacks all night, we will plummet...

I’m listening to the radio feed, not TV, so don’t see the visual interaction, but I think JD is off to a very good start.

Yep - and that Deakin thing is wasting valuable time! Yep, but he did just call McCain on amnesty.
But now we see this biased moderator gave JD a damaging first question, and now he sets Juan up with a question to make him look good.
