It is possible that he said this, I guess, but google has only two references to it. One in a blog thread about Texas politikcs, and you here. I will have to consider it ‘unverified’.
I have posted it here two timees before and got it from Wilkipedia. However it was edited off recently. I guess someone is afraid of the truth.

Most the people here call Goldwater a RINO. People who do are the real RINO’s.
