I’d be glad to donate money for more refrigerated trucks!

A strong defense of the border would stop this sort of thing.

Well, that’s too bad. If you weren’t breaking the law I might have a little sympathy for you.

That’ll happen crossing hundreds of miles in desert heat, sometimes as high as 115 degrees, with a gallon or two of water. Many of these crossers come from the jungles of Mexico, they have never encountered or experienced dessert heat. They, many times, come ill-prepared.

I would donate towards a trebuchet on the border to return the bodies.

If they went through the gates LEGALLY, than they would not have a problem with this issue. They take their life (and many times, their childrens lives) into their own hands, knowing full well the dangers of crossing a desert, to come here ILLEGALLY. Can’t say I feel sorry for em.

Just dying in the desert Americans won’t die in.

There is a very quick fix for this. Close the effin’ border for good!

A county medical examiner says deaths among illegal immigrants crossing the southern Arizona desert from Mexico are soaring so much this month the office is using a refrigerated truck to store some of the bodies. Um, I don't want my foods refrigerated in a former corpse wagon.

If you promise them amnesty, they will come.

What kind of country is so poorly run that people will risk their lives (and sometimes lose it) to escape?
Why should we want to import such a system into our own country?

Seeing how these people are being cultivated as a voting bloc for the left is bringing a callousness I never thought existed in me. They’re nothing but fodder now, to some very rapacious and despicable political interests in this country.

If I were poor, I’d high-tail it right for the US of A, too.
Unfortunately, we cannot let this happen. Importing poverty and crime into the USA will only turn us into Mexico.
The only way to save these lives is to rigoruosly patrol the border and destroy any notion that they’ll make it here.

A strong defense of the border would stop this sort of thing. If it was good enough for a refugee from a Communist dictatorship, we SHOULD be sending "back them" as Mexico does, si.

Exactly.
I checked with my neighbors, who legally emigrated from Romania in 1990 and they’re doing fine. Ditto with the Indian folk down the street.
Go figure.

Great, that is a bunch we won’t have to deport then isn’t it? I am all for mounting machine guns and planting mines on the border with warning signs all up and down the border. Go back or die, should be the simple warning.

So, the Mexican government should strongly discourage their citizens from trying make that dangerous journey, as any responsible government that put the safety of its citizens first would.
