(07-16) 04:00 PDT Sacramento - --

A slight majority of Californians favor Arizona's controversial law that makes illegal immigration a state crime and allows police officers in the Grand Canyon state to question people's immigration status based on "reasonable suspicion," according to a Field Poll released today.

However, the results are close and clearly divided along partisan lines. California voters approve of the law by a 49 to 45 percent margin. A 62 percent majority of Democrats disapprove of the law, while 77 percent of Republicans said they favor the law.

“However, the results are close and clearly divided along partisan lines.”

Well, yeah, isn’t everything? But let it be known that less democrats than republicans supported their party line, which is why the republican line won the poll (though you’d never know it by the headline).

Note. When the libmedia use the term “divided” it generally means their side is losing.

Hence 49-45 approve of AZ law.

Northern California needs to break off from Southern California. Make it two states.

You realize of course that you would have to start buying all the water you use from Northern California? Bet a lot of swimming pools would go empty.

Now if they would redo this and only poll legal US citizens of California I suspect the majority would be larger.

A slight majority of Californians favor Arizona's controversial law ,,

It is always a "controversial law" when it goes against the liberal media's bias.

The liberal media just slips the word "controversial" in a statement about certain groups The NRA, Tea Party, Conservatives, statements made by Christian Churches, US Military and others they despise.

Rarely is the word "controversial" used before something that 0bama has said or done, liberals, progressives, communists, EPA, BATF,Democrats,SEIU, NAACP, ACLU, Sierra Club, congress, NOW and others of like nature.

Of course other buzz words are substituted for "controversial" for anything their liberal reporting does not agree with.

The MSM is so predictable.
