I’m in N.E. Columbia. Woke me up too. I lived in California for 14 years, so I know an earthquake when I feel one.

Rapid, small side-to-side movement, like a heavy vibration.

Seemed to last 5 to 10 seconds.

We’re in Fallsgrove in Rockville. Apparently quite close to the epicenter.

The loud rumble woke me up- sounded like Rolling Thunder- then the shaking started a tic later. The seat of the pants sensation was that the ‘shaking’ was evenly spaced but the intensity increased, peaked, then tapered off.

Lasted about 10 seconds.

Since it was non-destructive, it was kinda cool.
