Obama: I expect to be held accountable on jobs, but I’d prefer that you hold Bush accountable

How strange that our very successful president would choose this tack instead of emphasizing his very successful policy successes.

Maybe he’s just modest.

Americans, Obama said Thursday, don’t have a “selective memory.”

“They’re going remember the policies that got us into this mess as well,” Obama said, referring to the previous Republican administration. “And they sure as heck don’t want to go back to those.”…

“It’s hard because you don’t see immediate gratification,” the president acknowledged Thursday. He said his message to people out of work was that his administration was doing everything possible to create an environment in which private sector jobs could expand.

“But I’m not any more satisfied than they are,” Obama said. “And until they can find a job, I expect to be held accountable.”

Yep. He also voted for TARP and then crticized it.

I think it’s starting to turn though. I saw where Drudge had Bush’s new book posted. There were comment boards beneath book description. ONE liberal was on there calling Bush the ‘Worst Ever’(as usual), and man did that guy take some heat. People weren’t shy about stamping Obama with ‘Worst Ever’. (Maybe it was Freeped?)

Brack, just what were those policies? The Dems held both Houses from '07 to the prresent.

Republicans warned of the meltdown caused by the Community Reinvestment Act. Fwank, Todd, and Nancy endorsed this disaster.

Don’t forget 2003-2007 - reduction of the national deficit from 500 billion to 100 billion due to the Bush tax cuts which increased government revenues......

Rush had this lying POS pegged so well on his show yesterday...(Wednesday for those in Rio Linda)

"Barack Hussein Obama (Mmm! Mmm! Mmm!) got elected due to his ability to tell Americans to go to hell in such a way where a majority of them actually looked forward to the trip."
