I spent 2 years in Simkins Hall when I was a student at UT.
Shame on them. Now they will not get my alumni donation .....again.
I spent 3 years in that dormitory in the late 70’s. I guess if they change the name, then the intramural team will have to get new shirts. When I was there they had the initials for Simkins Hall Intramural Team across the top with a logo of a cockroach with a lightning bolt through it. The classic S.H.I.T. shirt.
