Plus, once the Dems are gone, he can more easily start his race war by blaming white Repubs for all the ills that are preventing his redistribution of the wealth, And when he stages his final coup with his gangs of urban Brown Shirts, he won’t have to worry about sharing the power.

He’ll prefer it because he’s setting up a replay of 1994. Republicans winning both houses and putting a stop to his agenda could make him personally popular and the winning candidate in ‘12. I hope to God this scenario doesn’t play out again.
