Progress: Schools Teaching Your 10-Year-Old Child About Anal Sex

Funny, but I always thought that schools should focus on teaching our children subjects like reading, writing and math. Not so, evidently! That’s for fuddy-duddy, old school philistines. Nowadays, with those things called Progress and hopeandchange ™, our children are being taught about oral and anal sex and “fisting.” Often under the guise of abstinence programs and without the consent, or even the knowledge of, their parents.

Montana is just the latest example of where this dangerous sexploitation of your children is occurring. Included in their new proposed “health” curriculum:

By fifth grade, they are taught there are several types of intercourse, and by the sixth grade, the draft document states that students should, “Understand that sexual intercourse includes but is not limited to vaginal, oral, or anal penetration; using the penis, fingers, tongue or objects.”

Fifth grade. That is 10- and 11-year-olds. Sixth grade, 11- and 12-year-olds. I’m far from a prude, but I don’t care to discuss anal penetration with objects and, in fact, run screeching from my computer screen when sent to Urban Dictionary and coming across such a topic. Yet, our 10-year-old children are supposed to be able to handle such discussions? Worse, people think that they should have such discussions?

In kindergarten, the new curriculum proposes that those five- and six-year-olds know the proper terminology for body parts, such as penis, scrotum and testicles. You see, it’s far more important that they don’t use the word “pee-pee” and that they are sexually knowledgeable and empowered, at age five, than that they know how to spell their own names and count to 20.

A couple years ago, I was assigned to teach Life Science, Geography, and Health to 7th graders.

About mid-year one of the local activists went to a BOE meeting and insisted that masturbation be covered during health class.

The next day, the curriculum coordinator and the superintendent came to me and asked if I cover it in class.

I flatly refused and told them if it was added to the curriculum, I would request reassignment.

Both the super and head of curriculum smiled at me and said, "We are glad you said that, you will NOT be reassigned, and we will NOT be teaching it.

This is why I pay to send my daughter to a private Catholic School. I can't protect her forever, but I can hope she develops character before the day comes.

Mind you, in the school where I teach (Atlantic County,NJ) we still have a sing-a-long on the last day before Christmas break. We sing the secular songs, like Frosty, and Rudolf, but we also sing Silent Night, Away In A Manger and the First Noelle.

Actually I suspect the public school where I teach to get better than it is, and it's pretty good right now.

Our new superintendent was a head master at a K-12 private Catholic School.

Every parent believes that about “their” school.

Well, "every" parent may believe it but we actually are socially conservative around here. Look up the voting stats for my area (south central Washington State). As I suggested, the elementary school teachers and administration are just like the parents around here. As you go up through the grades there would be a little more liberalism creep in.

Regarding “this is Montana? I am a little surprised!”

Ronniesgal, don’t be. There’s a lot of butt bandits and rump rangers moving in from out of state. Also, the three largest towns here have large liberal colleges, especially Missoula that condone this type of conduct. This school board tried to pull this out of sight of the public and got caught. When word got out the Ravalli Republic newspaper said they had more people than ever show up at this school board meeting. Another little known fact is that the school board asked Planned Parenthood to participate in preparing this curriculum. I called the Governor this morning to voice my disgust with the idea that a school board would propose doing this to little kids. The Governor’s aid answering the phone told me that the Governor was not involved in school board issues. I informed his Aid of my disbelief of his statement and requested to be put through to the State Board of Education where my phone call was answered by a machine. On the positive side, these despicably cretons have been caught and many parents here in Montana home school.

oh knock it off. There are no crickets in Helena right now, and I don’t appreciate the fatalist viewpoint so let’s go for the facts. There will be another meeting August 10, progress was made, folks turned out and said what needed to be said, and FReepers need to quit with the pre-judging. How about some support? Even Sean Hannity offered it, and the wailing is not appropriate. Montana is not finished with this, and the superintendent of schools is a fool to push the agenda. Can you pray? If you were just being cynical, sorry. But I’m the grandparent, kids will be affected by this, and let up while we fix the system!
