I was making a point that we are expected to accept them teaching stuff to our kids that we disapprove of, how about a little turnabout?

What do you think the reaction would be if that question was posed to them? Sometimes it just takes a little jump start to get their cranium fluids flowing.

I completely understood the point you were making. My reply was intended to be part serious and part sarcasm. Mostly serious. :) I think children and the nation in general would be much better off if there were no such thing as government run school systems. Then perhaps children would get real educations rather than some one size fits all curriculum geared to the lowest common denominator.
