Actually, Moneyball is the frugal approach to the game i.e. finding and signing undervalued players who outperform their peers.

If that’s what you think then you don’t really understand the concept of what Moneyball was about. In fact, Moneyball is probably a direct response in the opposite direction to how Steinbrenner went about business.
