“poorly thought out Corporate policy prepared for New England and implemented in Nevada?”

We are right on track for one global currency, one world policy, one rule for all, see how it doesn’t even work across our own 57 states.

“but you’ve stated you kill anyone in that situation that made a dumb mistake simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

I’ll be magnanimous and not call that a lie. Lets call it a “mistake.” If an officer, through mistaken identity puled you to the side of the road, had his weapon drawn and ordered you out of the car, empty hands clearly visible, what would YOU do and if you disobeyed his or her order, why would you do that?

Recently I counted TWELVE emergency vehicles that responded to a two car accident.

All these personnel are obviously trying to justify their existence on the public payroll not to mention loony retirement packages/salaries in most locales. The police do it too..... then they turn around and snark they are too busy to coordinate with the ICE to deal with illegal aliens

Nationwide all police, firefighters, emergency personal were given carte blanche on salaries and pensions due to 911 and all the justifiable paranoia that followed it. 220 or so firemen were killed

“Nationwide all police, firefighters, emergency personal were given carte blanche on salaries and pensions due to 911 “

Could it have been that the terrorist networks ‘knew’ that our system would collapse from over reaction to 911. Seems ‘their’ plan is right on track to destroy the US.

This is disgraceful! If this was a black man there would be riots, a call for a boycott of Costco and God knows what else!

$500,000 was spent on the 911 attacks. This was the most effective $500,000 ever spent in an act of war. If not for 911 there would have been

Come to the town I currently live in. NO LESS than 2 cruisers at every stop I have every seen. 3 is very, very common, even for little old people, anybody. Often as many as 4-5, and usually a K-9 comes by at some point, probably for intimidation...

Yet they still claim they have no time to deal with illegal aliens and report them to ICE and try to get deportations. That's what gets me steamed

I’d try like hell not to disobey an order from an officer with a gun drawn on me, but in the heat of the moment I’m sure I’d be nervous as heck! I have a bad back and a bad neck and I don’t necessarily think about mentioning that to anyone and everyone, but it does cause me to use my arms and hands to get out of my vehicle. To me that is normal behavior because I do it all the time. That could certainly appear as me reaching for something and be viewed as a threat as far as an officer is concerned. This is something I will have to try and keep in the back of my mind to be remembered if I ever find myself in that type of situation. I can see where mistakes will be made, but we the civilians expect some semblance of levelheadedness to prevail from what is supposed to be a professional police force.

I know, I know... Police are people too. But when they are supposed to protect and serve as well as uphold the law and maintain professionalism... well, that’s what they need to keep in the forefront of their minds also. IMO, Shooting a suspect should be the last thing a police officer thinks about doing as a matter of course - they should be considering “how am I going to resolve any conflict without the use of deadly force if at all possible, while still maintaining everyone’s safety including mine?”.

The suspect you talked about originally apparently pulled over and allowed you to take him into custody without incident. divining from that; the suspect complied immediately or I would’ve expected you to mention having to give chase or some other difficulty. That would be a red flag that the suspect was more dangerous vs. compliance or immediate compliance. Some people can pull a good ruse as well and will appear to comply immediately, then cause a ruckus, but the general population as a whole is not out to injure police officers - be they suspect or not.

Sorry, “PW” calling a school a “degree mill” when it is not, and saying that someone “bought” a degree “off the internet”, when they did not, is libel. Your opinion is not “truth.” I’ll be sure that the appropriate people are aware of your posts, so that they may take action if they desire.

Please do not post to me again.

This incident should be a teachable moment for CCW holders
  1. Don't flash your gun.
  2. Don't argue with store clerks as what CCW laws are.
  3. If you are foolish enough to argue: expect a confrontation with LEOS
  4. When you have that confrontation, particularly if they have guns drawn
  5. STOP
  6. SLOWLY,
  7. VERY SLOWLY
  8. RAISE YOUR HANDS
  9. WAIT FOR A DE-ESCALATION

“Breaking up packages and putting them in a backpack then taking them out again is certainly out of the ordinary. The cops overreacted.”

NO... the employee over reacted, along with the cops. That is not so disruptive as to call the police. Go get a male employee or go get the store manager, but NOT THE POLICE!

Form the reports I believe this employee DID escalated a normal shopping day into a police confrontation that ended in murder. Why else has the 911 call OR the videos not been released? HMMM?

Because they do NOT BACK UP THIS EMPLOYEE’S STORY OR THE COPS that’s why.

2.Don’t argue with store clerks as what CCW laws are.

That sounds good but

....there was NO sign at the store entrance stating that CCW is not allowed in Costco.

....the state allows CCW, as do many states

.... this man was allowed to CCW

And lastly, there is an email running around claiming that Costco does NOT allow CCW in their stores. Costco has made themselves an island in terms of law, opaque to the public.

Costco employees seem to take this as their right to enforce anti-gun laws on their property, unto the point of murder.

THAT is the real problem, Costco is Anti-American, Anti-Gun and their policy contributed to this mans death.

Then I'll leave you with this:

1. You do not own the internet and if you continue to willfully misrepresent and attack me, I'll respond as I please. Making frivolous threats of "reporting" someone to the moderators for nothing more than embarrassing you in a debate, and blustering about it as if "they" will intervene on your side simply because you ask them to is a sure sign of an internet troll.

2. If you think a "distance learning" school that does all its classes online, has a poor academic reputation, has no visible admission standards to its programs except willingness to pay, has a long history of accreditation problems and accompanying lawsuits, and offers most of its "degrees" in non-recognized and non-traditional fields and specializations is anything other than a degree mill, then you are an even bigger sucker than the fools who shell out thousands of dollars to those places and think they're going to get a six figure job with their fancy new "degree" that's not worth the paper it's printed on.

Come to think of it, if you're really that stupid then I've got a bridge for sale in Brooklyn, a secret Nigerian government bank account that I need you to smuggle out of Africa, a doctorate in "life studies" you can earn online, and a vitamin distribution pyramid that can earn you millions...and all you gotta do for everything to be yours is email over your bank account number and your social!

3. Relevant to our own discussion, you have still yet to establish any actual academic credentials of your fake expert, "Dr." Lewinski, to back up his claimed expertise. If you do not like his credentials being challenged you should have chosen your expert more carefully and picked somebody who could withstand the scrutiny that Lewinski's dubious reputation invites. In that area you have only yourself to blame.

4. A general tip: if you intend to devote a large part of your argument to accusing other people of ad hominem personal attacks and other fallacies, you should at least make a pretense of avoiding indulgence in the very same things. It makes you into a hypocrite.

5. Another general tip: don't pick a fight if you're going to whine about it when you get hit back. I have little patience for people who enter into a discussion with guns blazing - as you did - and by impugning the motives of the person they are debating - which you also did to me in your very first post on the Tueller drill - only whine incessantly and now threaten to tattle tale to some anonymous moderator after it became evident you couldn't maintain your original bluster under scrutiny. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen.

Never called you a liar.

You clearly have anger issues, so, have a nice day.

Well, if the Costco 911 call did say there was a crazed, gun-waving, berserk customer running wild, as people have claimed, then one would assume that the police would release it because it supports their side of the story. Could it be that the 911 call wasn't all that crazy to begin with and that the overreaction was all on the part of the cops themselves?

No, I just don’t like the underhanded approach you were using. You added things like (if true) and noted the supporting link was inconsequential when it was clearly pertinent to the discussion.

the 911 tapes are apparently under seal by law until the coroner’s report is issued, so your assumption would be wrong.

Each state has different laws concerning CCW and posting.

If I were the family's attorney I would sue COSTCO down to their shorts.
They claim to have a No CCW policy but here in Colorado I have never seen
a Posting prohibiting CCW.

So it would appear that there is no nationwide corporate policy
nothing but confusion contributing to this avoidable unfortunate incident.

It would appear that this corporate confusion
including having no clearcut
escalation policy led directly
to this avoidable unfortunate incident
