“Missed the lesson of Zimbabwe” Ping.
I took the time to read the NBPP platform, and it’s the most schizoid, paranoid diatribe I’ve seen in a long time. On one hand, they want to be “given” whatever they demand, which ironically, includes self determination. Which they already have. As do all Americans.
They want a separate nation. OK, Zimbabwe is pretty, has a nice warm climate, and is already under black rule. (Which has been a dismal failure since they chased all the European farmers out.)
So which is it? Do you want to take charge of your own lives, or do you want to stay on the dependency plantation for another few generations? Sounds like both.
