God has preserved the Jewish nation of Israel. In doing so, He has maintained and blessed leaders, male and female at just the right times to ensure their survival and continuity of the faith.
The people have garnered some skills over time, as well. Discernment of intention is one of them.
They are correct in not trusting Obama.

Would we trust the Israelis if they were negotiating with Mexico to give our southwestern states to them, and wanted to throw in half of Washington DC as part of the bargain? That's essentially what Obama is trying to do to Israel.
