Besides the fact that some of my ancestors were on the receiving end of it, I don't really take any conscious pride in the fact that over the past 500 years the white (aka European) race essentially conquered the planet and people who look like me, or at least dress and act like me, now run everything. It was probably an historic inevitability that some group from a part of the world, with whatever features and culture, were going to do it. It just happened to be those large bodied, pale skinned, balding, big nosed surviving descendants of Ice Age Europe.

But if I was Mr. Shabazz, and if I were inclined to peruse a bit of world history, I might soon discover that however weak, lazy, and guilt ridden some of us may appear, picking fights with "crackers" usually turns out rather badly for the pick-er.

It reminds me of one of Richard Pryor's old comedy routines. He said the reason the Japanese thought they could attack the US and get away with it was their main contact with Americans had been on the campuses of UCLA and USC. They thought we were all like that and they didn't know about the kind of white people who live in Mississippi and Alabama, some of them named Bubba and kept chained in the basement so they couldn't "hurt nobody". Running into such at Guadalcanal was quite the rude shock.
