I think Rush had it exactly right the other day when he was mocking the NBPP as "wannabe's." It was during the time original Black Panthers were disavowing the racial slurs of the NBPPs. Rush pointed out that while the originals were real killers (I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area during their worst exploits), the NBPP hasn't killed anyone yet to his knowledge.
The point of course was the terrible irony of the original bloodthirsty Panthers trying to look like good guys when contrasted with the NBPP. In fact I saw one of the female CNN "journalists" bowing and scraping in near-religious awe while doing one of the network's typical softball interviews of Bobby Seale. I guess her researchers forgot to tell her to ask about the torture "trial" of Alex Rackley and other BP victims.

I heard that bit and Rush essentially dared the NBPP to go out and kill some crackers. You're not legit until you kill someone like the Real BBP? Very out of the ordinary for him.
