What if the blog happens to be breaking news unfound anywhere else? My breaking news blog posts have been picked up by NRO and other prominent websites. Does the fact that the articles originate on a blog invalidate the information? In your worlds, the answer is yes. I write a blog because it’s easier & less time-consuming than maintaining hard-coded websites. Have either of you ever coded websites to know the level of time and effort involved with coding and ftp uploads? Especially for breaking news?

You’re quick to criticize, but short of your experience on FR I see no other validation of your negative attitude. Blogs are the new medium for journalism. Would you rather be left with the NY Slimes, WaPo and the rest of the LSM?

I stand by my comment. Blogs belong in a blog forum.

Yes I have and if your good it's not that hard.

As to blogs if I want to read a blog I will go to the blog. I don't come to FR for excerpts teasers from blogs. As long as you post in full great, if you excerpt I will shun you like I do all blog pimps.

Note, if one is hot for links and not a discussion forum like FR then Drudge has y'all all beat.

Believe it or not my life has been and will continue to be pretty full without Twitter, porn or blogs.
