Shabazz Shazzam tried his schtick in Jasper TX during the trial of the punks who dragged James Byrd to death. The locals (black and white) ran Shabazz Shazzam and the rest of his Pampers out of town. The local jury (black and white) then gave the punks their just reward - two to death row, one got life w/o parole. I LOVE TEXAS!
Damn, I didn't know this loon Shabazz had been around that long. What was that - 10 years ago? I remember Texas and Bush (by extension) were getting some grief over this case because they wouldn't label it a 'hate crime' ... just 'murder in the first degree' ... but I guess if it doesn't have 'hate' in the label - the murderers must've been doing it out of love...
But as you noted, they got 2 on Death Row and one in for Life. Three Cheers for Texas (and also a cheer for Arizona for their recent stand on National Sovereignty, Law and Security).
I love Texas too. Born, raised and will die here. As for Shabazz...aka Maurice...I sincerely hope he tries some more of his racist schtick here in Houston. I would love to see him get his @ss handed to him a little less black but a lot more dusty. Texas men know how to deal with hate-mongering racist bigots.
