Academy of Model Aeronautics, the governing body of radio controlled aircraft, also sends out notifications of TFRs when Obama is visiting the area. This means that I can't fly my little 5-ft wing model airplane within 35 miles of the jackass.
In May, I was told by an AMA official that he's had to send out over 100 of these things since The One ascended. He said that there were plenty of PO'd people when Hawaii was essentially shut down while the Obamas vacationed there at Christmas time.
I think it's about time organizations with airspace concerns file a class action lawsuit to put a stop to some of this. These TFRs disrupt commercial air traffic as well.
