I think I’d go with a keltec su-16 before the 556 remington pump gun thoYea,, I've been looking for a SU16-C,, can't find one. This Remington takes M16 magazines,, did ya know that?

I was lucky enough to find a 16c about a year ago. You won’t be disappointed, if you can find one. It is a great bang for the buck. Mine has been flawless, and it didn’t break the bank.
