Obama (and the democrats) have turned a normal cyclical recession into the worst economic downturn since the great depression, and it's going to get A LOT worse before it gets better because of their socialist policies and their refusal to reign in the welfare state.

The entire economic downturn happened while the Democrats controlled Congress. It happened on their watch. All the job losses have happened after Pelosi became speaker, and millions have lost their jobs since Obama became President in in nov 2008. The normal cyclical recession has been made longer and deeper, and the recovery more tepid, because of failed and flawed economic policies by Obama and the Democrats. Their socialist policies and their refusal to rein in the welfare state is adding to our national debt and dis-incentivizing work and production.
