Well, ya got me on that one. I still believe that Rand’s book does a better job of defining the slippery slope we embarked upon.

That is very true. The allegorical nature of 1984 and Animal Farm appeals to a certain type of people while the anylitical descontruction of socialism in Atlas Shrugged appeals to another. Both authors have important messages.
