HOA’s ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS end up in petty turf wars or uberNazis who love to order people around on their own property CAUSE THEY CAN. And they always claim the same old tired excuses, that it keeps the property values up.
You know, it ain’t my job to keep YOUR property value up. That belongs with “it takes a village” nonsense pushed by Hillary Clinton. Surprising how many “so-called” conservatives believe in HOA’s. I just don’t understand.
I live in a non-HOA area. It smells like freedom, not the iron boot they have.
I like the freedom to be a red neck even if the folks next door think they are in a villa. When my yard and porch starts looking real purty, neighbors watch out! Because that’s when the For Sale sign is going to go up.
