24% of the electorate is not 1/3rd, Campbell was looking solid until Palin intervened, voting started about six days after that, Fiorina had the money and the oomph to capitalize on that Palin weekend and bury Tom Campbell. Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Well, I disagree.

1) Your chart shows only some of the polls and relies heavily on SurveyUSA - a robopoll with a pretty poor accuracy record. (with 1/4 of the electorate undecided)

2) Campbell started falling when Carly filled the airwaves with $5 million in advertising (and w/ the Palin endorsement).

3) 4 out of the 5 polls you show reflect less than 2/3 of the electorate (i.e. more than 1/3 were undecided).

4) If Campbell was “breezing to victory”, 90% of the electorate would have been decided and he would have consistently shown a substantial lead in *all* polls.

5) How sad that the candidate who has the most personal wealth can so easily bury her opponents. So much for democracy.
