There are lots of partisan political junkies out there. Most of them see the world as R vs. D.
I view it as we-the-people vs. a big obtrusive (and intrusive) government.
Carly will probably get my vote, but it won’t be the those being attacked on FR that make a difference. It will be all the other conservative voters that just don’t see a candidate to get excited about and may or may not show up at the polls. CAGOP hacks are so busy justifying moving “to the middle” that they ignore the vast number of voters who have tuned out after years of misguided leadership in the cagop. The upcoming election will be determined by turnout —as is most always the case.
I’m sick of the campaign hacks posting lies about candidates and then getting pissed off if they are called on it. Carly is a lot of things — “fiscal conservative” is not one of them. Can’t people be honest about what we’re getting? Must they always put a false label on their product for their advertising campaigns?
The Hayworth crap irks me. I’ve only scanned those threads.
People receiving their ballots on May 12 (6 days after the endorsement) could vote and return the ballot on that day, we are not required to store them somewhere in the house until a certain date.
I will say that I sent JD money... as much as my obama economied... BP oil soaked arse can manage. I hope mcjerkface loses.

Agree. As far as I can see, Fiorina is a decent candidate ... about a thousand percent better than that hag Boxer.
Way too many purists on Free Republic who want Ronald Reagan on every ticket. (and they’d probably diss him if he were still around).
It’s California. Let’s give Fiorina our full support.
Well, I disagree.
1) Your chart shows only some of the polls and relies heavily on SurveyUSA - a robopoll with a pretty poor accuracy record. (with 1/4 of the electorate undecided)
2) Campbell started falling when Carly filled the airwaves with $5 million in advertising (and w/ the Palin endorsement).
3) 4 out of the 5 polls you show reflect less than 2/3 of the electorate (i.e. more than 1/3 were undecided).
4) If Campbell was “breezing to victory”, 90% of the electorate would have been decided and he would have consistently shown a substantial lead in *all* polls.
5) How sad that the candidate who has the most personal wealth can so easily bury her opponents. So much for democracy.
Sorry for your feelings.
At this point, you can’t blame folks for voting for her. There’s nothing else to do other than leave the spot blank.
On the one hand I don’t want to see Boxer get back in, and on the other hand I’m am so damned tired of spending decades voting for people unworthy of my vote, that I’m all but dedicated to not rewarding the RINOs any longer.
When it becomes clear RINOs can’t win without us, the party will die or move back to the right.
I think they got a real eye opener in 2008. Even as bad as Obama was, they couldn’t muster a victory with the consumate RINO McCain.
Perhaps California needs to swear of the Schwarzeneggers, the Whitmans, and the Fiorinas and drive the point home. They’re not supporting the state anyway unless it’s RINOs.
The GOP comes out here to fund-raise, then takes the dough and runs for the border never to return.
I’m sick of being taken for a ride.
Sorry for your feelings?
This is a Conservative lamenting the purchase of a nomination by a RINO, and the best you can do is try to slam her for being a liberal.
CalCowGirl is worth fifty of you.
Thank you for the response.
I’m glad you did. He’s a good guy. I’ve never seen him hawking a policy on the tube that I didn’t agree with.
You know its going to be a bloodbath when/if Boxer cant win in California
Sorry for your feelings as well, the primary is over. I won’t be voting for, or supporting Barbara Boxer returning to the senate and adding another 6 years to her reign.
Well, it’s sad if you let your bitterness overcome common sense.
You probably don’t live in California (I hope) but I pray that someone gets Boxer out.
And I kinda like Fiorina. She seems like a common sense gal and she has business experience.
Feelings???
I was talking facts and analysis -- not how I feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel.
Get off your high-horse and take your condescending crap elsewhere.
I won’t be voting for her either, but I understand that’s how low you have to stoop to make points.
Go ahead and install a RINO so that when she comes back and gets re-elected term after term, we’ll be blocked from ever turning this nation around.
Boy, you are really dug in on this.
What exactly is wrong with Fiorina?
When exactly do you hope that a die hard conservative that suits you will run in California?
On that hope, are you willing to give Boxer six more years while you look for someone?
That is so ridiculous I can’t even believe it.
I'm certain there'd be no difference....
and for the pudgy maroon..../sarcasm......
Thanks D1 — it really is getting ridiculous.
Unless you are a 100% cheerleader on these threads, you are attacked, demeaned, called names — etc.
I couldn’t believe the first 100 posts to you (although you held your own quite well).
Do these people really think these kind of tactics are going to attract people? Sheesh!
She is a common sense opportunist. Her campaign platform didn’t represent the real Carly.
I do live in California, and nobody despises Boxer more than I do. That doesn’t mean I plan on installing a Republican(D) so that they can basically do the same thing Boxer would, and being a Republican would make it next to impossible for us to replace her as long as she wants to run again.
Do we want to turn this nation around or not? If we do, we have got to stop installing RINOs who will vote pretty much like Boxer presently does.
