Well as the saying goes, “if you are not a liberal when you are young, you have no heart, but when older, if you are not a conservative, then you have no brains”.
When one gets older, you are supose to get wiser.
I was just about to bring up that quote.
The phrase originated with Francois Guisot (1787-1874):
“Not to be a republican at twenty is proof of want of heart; to be one at thirty is proof of want of head.”
Huh, so I had no heart when I was young... but had a brain.
