We had a light fixture above our dinning room table break! That’s a first.

Didn’t feel nothing.
I’m in NoCal. LOL
Still, been in that area plenty and you would feel a 5.9 no doubt.
Felt it at Sea World; ground swaying under our feet for about 1/2 minute. Rides shut down for a few minutes.
We usually don't feel the "rollers", but the "jolters" pull on the mooring ropes and get our attention.
Thanks for the Ping, Ernest. That one shook a few shakes too long for me to really enjoy it. :P It started out light then built up. Everything rattled and shook, but thankfully it looks like there was no damage.
Jack Popejoy an anchor on KNX just mentioned that there are reports of people who ran outside during the earthquake, which is not a good idea in most cases.
Earthquake Ping List.
If you wish to be removed from the Earthquake Ping List or added to it, please FReepmail me.
Did not feel in Santa Monica.
I hope the real one never does come!

So, did the earth move for you too?
;-D
Series...all OK?
Thanks for the ping. I was walking, already outside and moving fast, hence did not experience this one.
Good to see people like you are on the job, Krankor! (cluck, cluck, cluck)
Joining the chorus of Earthquake feelers here tonight we too felt it somewhat moderately in Western Riverside County near Lake Mathews. Both Mrs. RQSR, and myself were outside tending to chores when we became aware it was happening.
"Caltech Seismic Analyst Anthony Guarino said preliminary information indicates that the quake was on the San Jacinto fault, one of two that was stressed by the 7.2-magnitude quake near the U.S.-Mexico border on Easter."
