Miley Cyrus is in Dire Need of Some Politically Incorrect Parenting
David Horowitz's NewsRealBlog.com ^ | July 7, 2010 | Rhonda Robinson

When is a child, not a child? Could it be when she can arouse an adult?

Of course the answer is a resounding NO. And if that question made you sick to your stomach, I apologize– and congratulate you. Obviously you are among the few, with enough functioning gray matter to understand that just because a young girl is foolish enough not to guard herself against the prying eyes of perverse men– that does not mean she’s fair game.

You may recall that was the fate of Miley Cyrus. While getting out of a car, Miley failed to do so in a “ladylike” fashion. A picture was quickly snapped with a cell phone, pixelated to give the impression the seventeen year-old wasn’t wearing underwear-then posted on Perez Hilton’s website. According to Hilton, Miss Miley is fair game. According to Miley’s father, she is a child, and that picture of his daughter is child pornography.

I contend we as a society must set the boundaries as to what is and is not permissible for adult behavior. And we as parents need to start practicing some Politically Incorrect Parenting.

Unfortunately, these days that kind of parenting gets you a visit from CPS and your kids taken away. Happened to me.

We got ‘em back. But now we are having to ‘look over our shoulder’ if we want to discipline our kids.

Oops, quickly the Prude Hater Patrol will be out to call anyone who thinks young girls should not be treated like sex objects prudes. As if that’s the worst thing anyone can be called. Reminds me of liberals thinking that racist is the worst thing they can think of to call conservatives.

Miley will be “legal” in a little over four months. At that point, she can join Linsey Lohan on the list of celebrities who are remembered mainly for their tacky behavior. Until then, I wish someone would tell her to put on some clothes, point out when the clothes don’t do the job, and teach her that there are bigger and more meaningful things in life than wriggling to get a reaction from men. BTW, I have no objection at all to beautiful women, but they should be adult if they’re going to act like her, and it’s nice if they have class or at least know how to pretend they do.

“will be out to call anyone who thinks young girls should not be treated like sex objects prudes.”

One usually gets the attention one seeks. If she doesn’t want to be treated like a common whore, perhaps a change of image and some soul searching might be in order?

A very close friend’s grand daughter was found to be advising some family children (cousins) that they could call Da Gooberment if they didn’t like anything their parents did.

When this came to the attention of the mother in that family, the south end of that particular north bound grand daughter met mother’s hand. Problem solved.

However, the fact remains that Da Gooberment still has to power to interfere in the parent/child situation. This does less good than the harm all too often resulting from state intervention.

Goobers in uniform can’t raise a child.

Like Lohan and Spears, the adoring press has probably already written her obituary.

According to Miley’s father, she is a child, and that picture of his daughter is child pornography.

He's 100% correct. So why hasn't hilton been arrested?

Granted, she needs a little help and some additional parental guidance. But that human sack of filth called perez hilton should be serving some serious time behind bars for disseminating child porn online.

“Good article.” - but, essentially an irrelevant one. Many children have at best one parent.

In the instant case, MS Miley is being marketed, and sex is part of the marketing. Expect sex, much less than well mannered or well bred.

It’s not Miley Cyrus’s fault that, getting out of a car without apparently sufficient concern that some adult perverts were staring at her private area, gets a picture taken that is then photo-shopped (not pixilated, that’s what they did to reproduce the picture in less titilating blogs) with a picture of another girl who wasn’t wearing underwear.

The man (I use the term lightly) who had this picture photoshopped and posted it on the web is a child pornographer and a pervert and should be thrown in jail.

But too many people want to blame Miley, simply because she wasn’t modest enough.

Sure, girls should be careful when getting out of a car. But if they aren’t, the price they pay shouldn’t be having their pictures photoshopped for sexual gratification by perverted adults.

i’m glad i live in a state that “allows” coporal punishment.

as long as i don’t break a bone, make them bleed, or leave bruising (duh, common sense i think, but that’s where CPS draws the line between “punishment” and “abuse”), i still can punish my child. fortunately, they’ve learned and rarely need it.

Some people entirely missed the point of this blog post. I won’t go so far as to call anyone a pedophile or a pervert, but to quote a FReeper on this thread—

“If the shoe fits.”

A few days ago, some FReepers were cheering the murder of a 14 year old for bothering his neighbor with a zuzuvela. Now some FReepers are imagining the sexual assault and INCEST of a minor.

Shame on every damned last one of you. FreeRepublic used to attract thoughtful individuals. Now we have... THIS.
