Until the eco-douchebags get on board with nuclear, I will not listen to one damn thing they say about anything. In fact, I’ll burn tires in my damn yard and make my special spotted owl stew four times a week.

Well what the hell is going on here?Either build the repository or kill it but stop wasting time and tax payer dollars playing these political games.

If the DOE continues this BS under Obama the decommissioning funding should be killed.

Here’s the big problem that even Chu acknowledged. The Feds have had folks paying extra in our utility bill for YEARS to fund this damn thing. If they don’t provide the waste storage, they will need to pay 50 BILLION back to the utility & users.

The costs of building Yucca Mountain are astrominical.

It has been going on for over 20 years.

“Until the eco-douchebags get on board with nuclear, I will not listen to one damn thing they say about anything.”

My neighbor is one such douche— we walk our dogs together and argue about this incessantly. No matter what brand of cold logic and hard facts I employ, he just insists that solar and wind “feels far sexier” to him than nuclear.

What a douche. Patrick Moore, founder of Greenpeace has embraced nuclear as a stepping stone away from fossil fuel. But these stubborn envirosaurs just won’t be satisfied until we’re all huddled around our one LED lamp with stagnant economies and zero production.

God, they are stupid and obstinate.

My negihbor complains that Yucca is dangerous and no one would want to live next to it (!!!!) Has he seen any pictures of it? Probably not— it’s a complete wasteland with no one even close to it. I tell him if he wants dangerous, until YM is opened, ALL OF THE SPENT FUEL IS STORED ON SITE AT THE POWER PLANTS!!!! How’s that for dangerous you ignorant f**ker!!!!

Yeah— these guys piss me off to no end! And nothing I say will even budge this guy!

How well I know! Hubby worked on that project out of the DC office for at least five years!
