the bottom line is also the fact none of those presidents mentioned started with such high approval numbers compared to dumbama and hence- none of the presidents mentioned saw such a huge drop in their numbers...

rat-wingers try to start this argument with me all the time with the Reagan comparison- and when I point out Reagan came into office with an approval rating of 57% versus dumbama, whose number was closer to 70%, they walk away uncomfortable...

True enough. The real difference lies in the backstage story. Reagan (and Volker) had put in the necessary and right corrections. In time they took effect and the next ten years were great. Obama has done the wrong things, in terms of the nation's interest, and has no intention of correcting his errors.

Their respective midterm approval ratings are like two vehicles passing in opposite directions who find themselves in the same spot as they cross.
