If the folks with the money to expand their business and hire people after the midterm elections, I’ll say it again, we will get Obama for 2 terms. I can’t believe I would wish for high unemployment to continue just to get his scraggly ass out of the WH, but it’s coming to that for me.

This time may be different, I’m not so sure that people’s memories will fade so quickly when 2012 comes around even if things improve after a Republican congress emasculates this usurper and prevents him from doing more harm. Our tax burden is set to increase because the Bush tax cuts are expiring, and the business community may still think that it’s time to keep going Galt to protect their livelihoods. I’m just not sure this time that these folks will breathe a sigh of relief even after the Republicans take over congress. This weirdo is that scary

Let's say the GOP takes over Congress this November and then starts forcing Obama to overturn all of his misbegotten plans ( Obamacare, Sunsetting Bush Tax Cuts, Repeal the Death Tax, Shelve Cap & Trade, etc ), and Obama does a Clinton and does not veto their bills, and the economy improves ( it did between 1994 and 1999 ), would this be acceptable to you even if Obama got a second term because of it ?

Things won't improve. The best congress can do is prevent further damage. They won't be able to override any veto. If Hussain were a politician like Clinton a major loss would cause him to tack right. From everything I can see he's a revolutionary, a rigid ideologue. If he can't change the system, he'll try to destroy it. Our only hope of a turnaround is repealing 0bamacare before the taxes kick in. Second we need to make the Bush tax cuts permanent. Finally we need to get control of our borders. In short: IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN.
