“China is not fish but a tiger lion”

Does he mean a “liger”? Anybody got a pic of Napoleon Dynamite’s drawing of a lion/tiger?

Pretty bold talk from a nation that would put it’s head on the chopping block by building the Three Gorges Dam.

Like the Caliphate, China knows it has been the sole superpower and center of the whole universe, in the past. China wishes to again be he sole superpower and center of the whole universe, eventually. For the immediate future, though, China will be satisfied with Taiwan, a heaping helping of WWII-revenge by way of debasement and humiliation of the Japanese nation, the west’s shocked and awed respect, and the whole eastern hemisphere’s grovelling, worshipful subservience.

SONOBUOY PING!

Click on pic for past Navair pings.

Post or FReepmail me if you wish to be enlisted in or discharged from the Navair Pinglist.
The only requirement for inclusion in the Navair Pinglist is an interest in Naval Aviation.
This is a medium to low volume pinglist.

I bet the skipper of that carrier would say the same thing about China.

“The Chinese, however, can attack an aircraft carrier fleet by remodeling its Dongfeng intercontinental ballistic missile, a nuclear warhead which has massive destructive capability.”

It could be worse, they could call in US debt instead.

I imagine the CINC is putting together an apology, even as we speak...

If the Yellow Sea is considered to be Chinese territory by the Chicoms, than the Gulf of Mexico should be American waters. All of it.

Does that mean that the U.S. should be allowed to attack Chinese and Russian oil rigs in the Gulf? What about Chinese and Russian naval vessels?

The Chinese are paranoid and stupid. If America wanted to attack China, we sure as hell wouldn’t be buying all the crap they sell us which is enabling the Chicom military buildup.

If there was ever an opportunity for China to secure and expand what is euphemistically called a “sphere of influence” in which only the Chinese military is allowed to operate, now is the time.

If China were to invade Taiwan or sink a U.S. warship in international waters, it is difficult to conceive of the Obama administration even criticizing this, much less doing anything about it.

Thus perceived weakness actually increases the risk of war. These are dangerous times we live in and the Obama administration has made it that much more so.

China’s greatest weapon is Obama. Never mind ships - he is sinking the economy.

““Just as we’d block a snoring person from approaching one’s bed, can we allow other people to perform a sword dance right in front of our door?,””

It’s uninspiring to perform the sword dance when someone is snoring.

“Just as we’d block a snoring person from approaching one’s bed..."

I've never actually seen a snoring person approach anybody's bed, or do much of anything for that matter. If they are snoring they are generally pretty dormant at that point. And as for fishy tiger lions. Aren't ligers impotent/infertile?
