Correct. Except that the main point won’t be to intimidate voters. That’s just a bonus of secondary importance. The thugs will be out with the primary intent of SCARING OFF AND DRIVING AWAY POLL WATCHERS, especially from “certain” highly corrupt urban precincts, so that vote fraud, on a locally massive scale, can proceed.

If that is the case, Stultis, I should think Patriots would already be planning countermeasures to “escort” the good people of Nevada to the polls to vote safely — and to notify the authorites in the meantime to come and deal with the various Thugs that attempt to intimidate or hinder them...?

MIght I be so bold as to suggest, for any readers out there in Nevada, that there are particular folks, with particular builds and often dressed in particular uniforms or other identifiable costumes/gear that would leave an indelible impression upon those who might try to hinder voters on their way to the polls...? I’m just saying....

Yeah. It doesn't really work like that. First, they have the media on their side. So you'll give them the opportunity to turn the blame on us. The "escorts" will be treated as the violators.

You can't go thug on thug. You have to send lawyers, or some kind of guys in suits. But the problem even then is, no matter how good your organization, sometimes the poll watchers will get run off before your team even has time to get to the polling station.

For example, one of the witnesses testifying in the New Black Panthers Party case, noted that even before that particular event, there had already been poll watchers run out of other precincts that day. Here's some of the testimony from that hearing:

MR. [Bartle] BULL: Yes. I was in a car, driven by a young volunteer, with another volunteer from New York. And we were receiving cell phone messages, saying that in many, many polling places, there was intimidation. Not so much of voters, Mr. Melendez, but intimidation of poll watchers. A very important point, sir, if I may say.

And that was what was going on. Our poll watchers were driven out of the polls in five or six places I went to. And while we were examining those situations, we had a call on the radio -- on the cell phone, excuse me, saying that on -- on -- at Fairmount Street, there were two Black Panthers intimidating voters and poll watchers, as you just heard.

So, we drove there, and there indeed we saw the two Black Panthers, blocking the door to a polling place, one of them armed with a weapon. I may say in my many years as a Civil Rights lawyer -- I didn't mention that. You asked me that question, I'm sorry. I also worked for a group called the Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights Under Law in Mississippi. In 1966, I took my summer vacation as a lawyer; went down to Hattiesburg and other towns in Mississippi, and worked as a Civil Rights lawyer there. And even there, I never saw armed people blocking the doors to a polling place.
