I agree with you. He says he’s sorry, he said exactly the right things...who are any of the people here to say they don’t believe him. I am not Christian either, but I understand forgiveness and the power of it. Forgivness, giving and receiving, is the most powerful thing one can experience.
Ron Silver comes to mind. So does Joe Lieberman.

Forgiveness is one thing - Trust is another—Christian or not. Yes, I am a Christian, and I try to instantly forgive, but trust is built, er make that rebuilt, over time. The person who violated that trust has to be almost 100% perfect over the long haul. That’s what the folks are trying to tell you. They, nor I, just don’t think Levi Johnston has it in him to rebuild that trust. He’s too immature. He has a lot more mistakes to make. Christians will humbly pray for him, though. No holier than thou...just a “please help him, Lord.”
