It wasn’t about whether or not you were impressed with it - it was in reference to your comment which indicated you had not read it. The article specifically stated why he both made a private and public apology, and you made a comment asking why no one was looking into why he was making a public statement, indicating you did not in fact read the article. He said in the article he had made a private apology to the Palins but was also making a public apology because the false comments he had made about them had also been public.
