McCain is the worst kind of political whore.

He represents everything that is wrong with our government.

Go, JD, go!

McCain sickens me. McCain-Feingold has caused so much damage and gave the Dems total control.

Hate to sound like I’m defending McKook, but the writer took his comment out of context.

What he said was that the ones who have committed a serious crime (”many”) need to be sent back. He described this group as 17% of the illegals here.

IOW he said nothing about the other 83% needing to be sent back. So he really did not change his position. The MSM is just lying and spinning ... all in a day’s work.

It will be very interesting to see how McCain votes during any lame duck sessions following the election. My sense is he’ll be in a payback mood whether he wins or loses...

Can someone explain to me how 71% of Arizona is fired up about illegal aliens, yet Arizona might re-elect Juan McLame?

Why aren’t they tossing his RINO progressive butt over the border into Mexico where he belongs?

“Illegal aliens” seems to be the leading issue, doesn’t it?

But if this statement is correct,

McCain said he supported reform that would create a guest worker program, but was against any plan that would gave illegal immigrants a path to citizenship, according to Congressional newspaper The Hill.

then that is a departure from his past pro-amnesty stance, which leaves the question: what to do with those here illegally who he'd give no path to citizenship?

Widespread bipolar disorder. The list of incongruencies in the candidates elected, and positions supported in Arizona is beyond puzzling: Napolitano twice, Sheriff Joe several terms, a lefty Mayor of Phoenix, McCain time and again, strong support for their new immigration law, strong support for Governor Brewer.

I didnt hear that part. But if I had to guess what his position would be, I imagine he’d support giving them legal residency but no ability to become citizens (for the moment). Something like a permanent work permit without chance to upgrade to citizen. With understanding that govt can revoke if person commits a crime.

How long it would be till he went back to the path to citizenship BS we can only guess.

McCain has one of those commercials with a Robert Davi voiceover. For shame Robert Davi, for shame.

I think this interview was a real departure, even without the deport them all part. AFAIK, McCain has been blaring about securing the border first, but still quietly saying he favored a path to citizenship after the border was secured. This is the first time I've known him to say no path to citizenship at all.

But I think it's all deliberate lies and, if reelected, he'll be there supporting amnesty even if the border isn't secured when an amnesty push might start. I don't believe a word he says on the issue.

Especially since he doesn’t mean a word of it. He is only doing this to get elected.

McAmensty appeals to his constituents north of the border when he is seeking office and to his constituents south of the border when he is not seeking office.
