U.S. Civil Rights Commissioner Ashley Taylor told Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly that it was not just white voters who were intimidated by the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia during the 2008 election year. He talks about a black Republican poll watcher who was also harassed by the Black Panthers who were standing in front of a Philadelphia polling station.
"There is a black victim that is often ignored. He was an African-American male, an older gentlemen who lived in the neighborhood in that part of Philadelphia, who was a poll watcher and happened to be a Republican poll watcher,..."

Somebody needs to go to prison. Probably a considerable number of people.
That would surely reduce the size of Government!
Happy to see Mr. Taylor has spoken out and brought this to light.
One more nail in the partisans and racists coffin at DOJ.
Holder and Hussein are too busy suing ARIZONA to worry about REAL criminals. And anyhow, why would they want to cause problems for a group of “bruvvahs” trying to get Hussein elected??!!

This puts Holder and the DOJ on record now as refusing to enforce the voting rights act regarding the harassment of a black voter at the polls. My question at this point would be of a legal nature, and possibly other FReepers could answer it. If now, there is a case wherein a black voter has been harassed, and the Government has abdicated it responsibility to uphold his rights, can private counsel now sue in a Federal Court? And since this is a civil rights suit, can the Government be forced to pay for lawyer fees?
Whew! Thank god! Now we can put to rest all of this talk that the NEW BLACK PANTHERS is a racist organization!
Somebody needs to go to prison.
Obama
May I add Pelosi, Reed , Emanuel and a host of others?
Start with Holder and work your way up....
Here is my letter sent to my senator last Friday!
Dear Senator Demint:
Thank you for representing the concerns of your constituency! I greatly appreciate your fortitude, courage and zeal in representing South Carolina.
I am writing to you today - because of my thorough disgust in the dismissal of the voter intimidation case by the Department of Justice. What is our America coming to, when thugs can intimidate voters who want to exercise their right to vote and do not have to fear the repercussions of their actions.
What kind of atmosphere are we creating for Voting in the future? What message are we sending to fringe elements who want to intimidate the citizens of this country at the voting booth?
I strongly encourage you to speak out on the Senate Floor, and in the public forum on the DOJ decision. We cannot sit back and let this level of in justice take place without the Department of Justice hearing the Roar of United States Citizens and the ire of honorable men and women in the legislative branch of our government.
Senator Demint I will be listening closely and want to have pride in the fact that the Senators and Legislators of South Carolina stood on the side of Justice and held the Department of Justice accountable for their decisions.
Sincerely,
Good letter. Would like to borrow parts but letters to Michigan Senators are a waste of paper. In fact, they should be added to the “should be jailed” list.
