Fox News host Glenn Beck announced Tuesday that he has launched an online academic program teaching classes in religion, American history and economics.
School may be out for the summer, but for Glenn Beck class is just starting, reads an announcement on Becks website. This July, while others are relaxing poolside, head back to the classroom from the comfort of your own home. That may sound like an oxymoron, but Glenns new academic program is only available online.

Name one and I'll help you blast him/her.
Ping me if you ever get an answer.
The speaker implies, the hearer infers.
i meet hundreds of college teachers every year from all over the world, and they fall into the same proportions as the rest of the population: 20% right/libertarian, 20% left, and the rest don’t care. that they all might be communists is faulty, prejudiced thinking, which is common enough.
i’ll admit there is a slight leftward bias in tenured staff, but not much. maybe to 30% or so, at least here in the South. i’ll get my opportunity to wrench that figure since i’m up for tenure soon...yipee!
technically, i’m a “university” teacher (due to creepy internet stalkers i won’t name which—but you’d recognize the name instantly). that’s important because we’re a BIG “elite” school, and i’ll admit to little contact with many smaller regional schools outside of technical conferences.
Name one and I’ll help you blast him/her.
Oh for heaven sakes, just look at the comments on this thread. What a disgusting lot. Don’t know how they live with themselves. Outta here. The fight has grown stale, and the fighters boringly repetitive.
“Yeah, every site on the web that has a copy of the rebel constitution is lying, is that it?”
Actually YES! They are spreading the same lie that was shown to them. I am not saying they did it on purpose, I am saying that they didn’t know any better.
If you were told your entire life that up was down, it wouldn’t change the facts, but you would think you were right regardless what others say.
Thus is the point here. These sites are listing what they have been told is the Confederate Constitution - doesn’t mean they were told CORRECTLY!
I've read the first 65 comments, so far, not a Mormon hater in sight.
Twice now, I've read your comment that you are leaving though.

I hope you get tenure, although that is unfortunately what protects a lot of bad teachers also. Your proportions above of 20% leftist at Universities, especially in the field of History, is however, laughable. I think you need to go to a variety of public universities to get the real poop. However, good luck on your tenure effort.

I suspect I’m talking to one. You always seem to find the Mormon threads to badmouth on. Yes, when someone replies directly to me, I respond. However, I have left the thread, because it’s occupants for the most part, make me nauseous. I do, however, respond to comments directly aimed at me. But I’ll be happy to stop responding to you; just don’t reply to me again and we’ll both be happy.
Ok, you keep charging “mormon hate” yet fail to show one example.
You keep saying you are “outa here”, yet you stay.
I’ll ask again since you are still here.
Show me one, just one statement that is “mormon hate”. If you can’t then stop making the charge.
i’ve included both public and private schools in my proportions list. really, i’ve given it a lot of thought since the subject comes up among us academic types quite often.
people get the impression that college history is taught by lefties because the lefties get the most media coverage, and make the most noise. most teachers just teach, it’s their job, and they couldn’t care less about politics beyond its influence on history, per se.
i leave my politics out of my classroom, by the way. but if a student offers an opinion, i feel it’s my responsibility to make them defend that opinion, regardless. it’s part of our school mission, to get our students thinking. we’re good at it, i feel, and that’s why we charge so much for classes. (i’m less than 50% joking.)

Well, good for you, yours sounds like a class that’s worth taking, except for the expense, lol. Good luck in the future. We need teachers that are not brainwashed.
Have you? Glenn stated that he was holding and reading the ORIGINAL copy, not a typed, posted, marked-up version on the internet. You can NOT say that Glenn is wrong unless you have seen the original which he (and Mr. Barton) says specifically reads as he stated on his show.
Stating something like that does not make it so. Considering the boy couldn't be bothered to Google "Dead Sea Scrolls" makes me question any research he claims.
Any historian knows to check their primary sources and that there are several online sites that are accurate in posting typed, marked up versions of primary sources.
BTW 'original copy' is an oxymoron.
Nope, I'm not a hater of any sort. I love Mormons and pray for their deliverance from the cult of Mormonism.

Your kind of love one could do without.
You got admit that is Funny Godzilla ROFL
Monk is ‘infamous’ for those pics now, LOL.
“Have you?”
Nope, but I am not on here basically calling people liars without having seen the actual evidence.
Please note that I am simply pointing out that the link that was given leads to a typed, marked version which does NOT make it correct.
Yeah Monk that photo is infamous ROFL
