Sarah Palin is NOT going to be elected ;her resigination from the office of governor will forever disqualify her as someone who can be trusted to "fight the fight" in the eyes of many voters, hoosierham among them. I fell for this guy named Perot who was a candidate, then wasn't,then was again. Not gonna happen twice.

Sarah Palin has a future as a political commentator and public speaker making lots of money but I predict she will never again be elcted to office.

Sarah is fighting the fight and is free to do so rather than fight more of the 20+ frivolous law suits, all thrown out of court.
The left wing bloggers and others were attempting to keep her from business and costing her over $500,000 in legal fees.

Resigning is a bogus argument when you can’t address the issues.

That game can be played with many wannaBies.
Huckabee quit one of his hick schools.
Romney quit on his country sitting out the Vietnam war in part in Paris.
Sarah Palin’s son who is in the Army has served in Iraq.
Romney’s 5 sons have never served in the military.

Sorry, I vehemently disagree.
The moment Sarah declares, I will literally go to Hell and back for her.

I agree with you, hoosierham.

Except, I think that her value as a political commentator may be short lived. If she announces she is not running for 2012, interest in her will wane. If she does run, her value as a commentator will diminish if she does not win. (Or, her paid political commentary and public speaking will cease altogether even if she should win, because then she will actually be POTUS. She would have to wait until she was out of office. I mean, she would have to wait, unless she wanted to risk more ethics charges...)

If she does announce that she is not running in 2012, she would have to leave some impression that she is a viable candidate for 2016, in order to further the paid commentary stuff.

This concludes my unpaid analysis.
