I’m curious. How is Napalm used? Do you set fire to it, shoot it...what? I’m ignorant to it’s use. I seem to recall it being associated with fire.

It can be dropped from aircraft (as seen in the movie Apocalypse Now, which used file footage of a real Napalm drop in the Philippines.)

On the ground, it is used by the US Army as Flame Field Expedients (FFE).

Napalm, short for Napthatic-Palmatic Acid is basically a jellied gasoline. It was used in against infantry troops in the open both in bombs and in flamethrowers. It was also used in quantity in the firebombings of Dresden and Tokyo.

Imagine flaming jellied gasoline sticking to everything and it's nearly impossible to extinguish.

I love the stuff.
