This guy should claim mental distress and apply for State Disability and make all those Spanish speaking gov't workers pay him for doing nothing. It's time the white male receive reparations for the damage the Civil Rights Act has caused them. And no I'm not kidding. It's THAT bad. I witness this on a daily basis. When employers feel like dishing out some crap, white males take the brunt of it because employers know there isn't an attorney or judge in the land that will defend them.

The Civil Rights Act has turned white males into whipping boys for employers AND female and other minority workers to indulge themselves in.

This isn’t new. When I completed a 2 year communications program at a local community college in 1974, the last weeks were devoted to job searches. Our very diverse class was told, in no uncertain terms, that white males were “over-represented in the Bay Area and were un-hireable.” The reps from the local network affiliates said that they’d instantly hire minority females, even with 2.0 GPAs, since they could fill several quota slots that way.

When I pointed out that this was nothing more than blatant discrimination, I was told that it was “affirmative action,” and furthermore, I should be “proud to be among the first to right historic wrongs.”

It didn’t matter that I’d been supporting myself since I was 16, when my parents suffered a very nasty, alcohol-fueled divorce. It didn’t matter that I was also working full time while trying to get a college education, and that I had a 3.75 GPA. I had the wrong skin color and gender, so I couldn’t get a broadcast job locally.

And today? If you’re not English and Spanish bilingual, forget getting a retail job in California.

This madness has to stop.
